Dr. Curtin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences. While maintaining a private practice in his hometown of Homer Glen, IL, and providing practice coverage for vacationing and sick doctors, he was given an opportunity to teach Anatomy and Physiology at South Suburban College in South Holland, IL on a part-time basis.
After his first week of teaching, he knew that he wanted to make a career out of educating students. Following a yearlong assignment as an adjunct instructor of Anatomy and Physiology, he was afforded the opportunity to join the Clinical Sciences Department at the National University of Health Sciences as a full-time faculty. In 2016, Dr. Curtin was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences.
He is the co-author of a truly innovative video book series titled Advanced Manipulation: Theory and Technique. In November of 2013, Dr. Curtin joined The Hart Wellness Center where he offers a combination of biomedical acupuncture/functional dry needling and gentle comprehensive chiropractic care to his patients. His clinical interest includes the management of chronic pain with electro acupuncture.
