"I have been practicing the science, art and philosophy of chiropractic for 20+ years.  The Nasal Release Technique may be the MOST influential technique and adjustment procedure that I have ever come across."
--Derek J Hartmann, DC

The origin story of Nasal Release Technique (NRT) began out of the need to be better at treating traumatic brain injuries and concussion syndromes in both active and retired military service men and women.  Concussions are experienced at an alarming rate through basic training and on the field of battle.  This is not only a big problem for our military, but often occurs in sport and in everyday life for millions of individuals of all ages around the planet.  The term chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) has been popularized by retired National Football League veterans and can also occur in the general population due to head trauma leading to a whole host of symptoms and pathology in the brain.  Concussions create structural changes in the brain and can lead to airway issues, headaches, dizziness/vertigo, cognitive troubles and memory issues, fatigue, sleep disturbances, irritability, vision and hearing troubles including tinnitus, psychological issues including depression and anxiety.

Conditions Treated with NRT...
-airway issues and breathing difficulties
-dizziness / vertigo / balance disturbances
-snoring and sleep apnea
-headaches (migraines)
-anxiety and depression
-neck pain and tension
-visual problems
-sinus issues and allergies
-TMJ dysfunction
-teeth grinding/clenching
The Nasal Release Technique (NRT) addresses structural imbalances in the nasal passages and surrounding cranial bones. It aims to improve breathing, reduce pain, and alleviate symptoms related to head injuries, sinus issues, and other conditions. The technique involves inserting a small, inflatable device (like a finger cot/balloon) into the nasal passages and gently inflating it to create space, open airway and improve alignment of the cranial bones.
