Avoid pain and move towards pleasure. That is what our brain wants to do. Expecting all pleasure and no pain is an illusion that over time is destructive and will make you weak and soft. Pain will strengthen you and improve resiliency. Realize that you will experience both in your life. This will be delivered to you at the right time to teach you lessons otherwise not experienced. We should not run from pain, but embrace the lesson of which it is wrapped. We can become better and stronger for it.
Much like Robin McKenzie of the McKenzie Method #MDT nailed it down many years ago. Sometimes we have to move into the pain in order to clear our derangements. And with repetitive movements pushing that joint complex as far as it can go, we get better and better and better. Whatever positions, postures, movements activities bring on pain and suffering, try the opposite.
