Wellness Newsletter – March 2010

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THWC!!!

The Hart Wellness Center will be 1-year old this Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010! It has been one very short, but eventful year for both me and Linzie. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have supported and continue to support our clinic. We extend gratefulness and gratitude to every patient and yoga student that you allow us to provide a service that impacts health and wellness in the way it does. It brings us extreme enjoyment to bring wellness into your lives. Frankly, the time has come for complementary and alternative medicine in today’s society. The health care system is failing in America and people are longing for solutions to what ails them in a natural healing environment without the use of drugs or surgery. We will strive for excellence in the upcoming years to remain proficient in treatment with many hours of continuing education. Our goal is to touch as many lives as we possibly could with the time that we have. Chiropractic medicine combined with yoga and movement therapies are extremely powerful in bringing balance and healing to what ails you.

THOUGHT OF THE MONTH

“Every thought you produce, anything you say, any action you do, it bears your signature.”

ORTHOTICS EDUCATION MONTH

Even if your feet don’t hurt, they could be a major reason for problems with your ankles, knees, hips, lower back or even neck and headaches. Pain in various parts of your body can be traced back to your feet. If your feet aren’t properly supported, this could lead to dysfunction of the system all the way up from the ground. March is THWC’s orthotics education month. Orthotics, or custom-made shoe inserts provide stability and balance to the feet ensuring correct alignment of the ankles, knees, hips, pelvis and spine. There are many experts who believe that all ailments begin in the feet and work their way up. One can justify that lower back pain and even neck pain can start in the feet. Many of you can agree with this through experience. Dr. Hartmann uses cutting-edge technology to digitally scan feet and show weight-bearing status and obvious deformities that can be corrected by using custom-made inserts in all of your shoes. If you are a runner who puts many miles on your shoes or you spend the majority of your day in dress shoes, FootLevelers has the right product for you. The company is at the top of chiropractic research and is constantly improving their product lines. Please visit www.footlevelers.com for more information and details about a top-notch company.
